Pastor Torey and Anastacia Williams started a church on the island of Barbados. As they felt God’s stirring to “go ye”, they left in January of this year. They worked in obscurity during the pandemic, reaching out to their neighbors and people they passed in the stores.
This past August, they had a grand opening and saw 28 visitors in their first service! Six people responded to the altar call. Since they have started God is building a firm foundation and now on Wednesday nights they hold a Bible study.
This family is an awesome example of our vision. They were both saved in 2002 and married in 2003. They were raised up to Door Directors, where they served the church in a great way. Later, they were asked to be on staff and ministered to the 18-30 year old age range.
In 2009, they left to Spring Lake, North Carolina, where they saw the church go from 40 to over 100 people and planted churches around the area. They came back on staff to assist Pastor Campbell and serve the Chandler church for a second time. God has used their lives all over the world and proven Himself through this precious couple and their family.
Please keep them in prayer as they labor to build God’s work!
