Let the Fire Fall

Pastor Paki Raj, from Bangalore, India, preached for our church this past Sunday. The presence of God was tangible amongst the saints as He ministered in preaching and words of encouragement.

His challenge to the congregation was that we would contend with God for fire to fall on every part of our lives.

If we are going to splatter seeds into the nations, neighborhoods, cities, we need that {Holy Spirit} fire in our lives and in the church.

Memories both good and bad

There are reports of people selling their computers having thought they wiped out their data only to find that a hacker was able to reconstruct their hard drives memory wreaking havoc on victim’s identities. All of this because they were able to bring up memory from the past. The devil is a demonic hacker and a master at identity theft. If possible he will steal your identity in Christ reminding you of your past.

Heb 9:14 –  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

There is a need today for many to have their past erased. Only God can do that. If we come to Him sincerely and with a contrite heart, He will forgive us and He literally says He will remember our sins no more.

Our church is filled with people who have been given a new life, a new chance that’s what this all means. You can live a life in which a bad past is deleted from memory, never to be brought up again in God’s eyes.
